CURRICULUM VITAE (updated May 2012)

Angelo Meduri studied Chemistry at the University of Messina where in 2007 he received the Bachelor's degree cum laude (Thesis title: "4A and 13X Zeolites - Synthesis and catalytic behaviour in methane decomposition to hydrogen." Supervisors: Prof. Felice Faraone, Dr. Lidia Pino, Dr. Floyd Tirimbò) and in 2009 the Master's degree cum laude (Thesis title: "Use of N,N-bidentate ligands bearing the chiral (1R)-(+)-camphor fragment in allylic alkylation reactions catalysed by organometallic compounds." Supervisor: Prof. Felice Faraone).
Since 2009 he has been a PhD student at the Department of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Trieste under the supervision of Dr. Barbara Milani. His PhD topic deals with the development of homogeneous catalysts based on palladium complexes with nitrogen-donor ligands for CO/vinyl arene and ethylene/methyl acrylate copolymerizations.

Besides being co-supervisor of three Bachelor's and one Master's theses, during the two last Academic Years he has been tutor for the courses of "Laboratory of Inorganic Chemistry" and "Laboratory of Physical Chemistry 3" addressed to Chemistry Bachelor's students, ^5th semester.
